Beverly Roberts, The Arc of New Jersey, Director, Mainstreaming Medical Care This presentation will focus on the importance of Medicaid for both healthcare and DDD services, and how to access Medicaid services (including Personal Care Assistance and the Personal Preference Program).  Additional topics will include: how to file a Medicaid appeal, the ability to maintain Medicaid eligibility while being employed and how a parent's retirement will affect their child's Social
Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid benefits.
