Webinar: Transition from School to Adult Life: Transition IEPs for Students 14 and Over

Hosted by The Arc of New Jersey Family Institute and presented by Hinkle, Fingles & Prior Attorneys at Law, this webinar is for families of students in special education aged 14 and older.

Adam Wilson, Esq. of Hinkle, Fingles & Prior, Attorneys at Law will describe the nuts and bolts of transition planning for students between the ages 14 to 21, and will provide an overview of important considerations for every family. Issues will include curriculum considerations, community-based instruction, and preparation for adult life – college, jobs or day support.

Adam P. Wilson, Esq. is well versed in all areas of disability law. He has a demonstrated commitment to representing underserved populations. He served as the Student Director of the Rutgers University, School of Law Street Law Pro Bono Program, providing free legal rights education to youth in Camden, New Jersey. In addition he worked as a Student Attorney in the Rutgers-Immigrant Justice Clinic, and was a Managing Editor on the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy. Prior to his work at Hinkle, Fingles & Prior, Adam served as a judicial intern with the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Adam holds two undergraduate degrees from Pennsylvania State University, graduating with High Honors. He graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers School of Law-Camden. Adam frequently lectures on a variety disability-related legal topics. Adam is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and he is a member of the Elder and Disability Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association.
